The Sand Trap Tour is proud to announce A Tournament to Remember, our first ever charitable event. This is the first in what we plan to be an annual event for our organization.
"A Tournament to Remember" is planned to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association. Every 71 seconds, someone develops Alzheimer's, and, as a result, Alzheimer's Disease is now the seventh leading cause of death in the United States. We have chosen this charity in honor of Robert Lassiter, one of our founder's father, who is currently living with this disease.
"A Tournament to Remember" will be a four person captain's choice format open to the public, however, it will remain a points event for our members. We will do this by holding a tournament within the tournament for Sand Trap Players. The specific details will be released as we get closer to the date, but there will be teams of Sand Trap members playing together.
Mark your calenders for October 25, and plan to be at Quail Ridge Golf Course in Sanford, NC as we strive to make a difference while enjoying the greatest game on Earth.
